Introducing the "Sahure Chandelier" by Eichholtz, a work of art inspired by a grand Egyptian column (ca. 2458–2446 B.C.) evocative of a date palm. Now in The Met collection, this monumental column was one of 16 that surrounded an open courtyard in the pyramid temple of the pharaoh Sahure. Emulating the lines that articulate the granite column's palm-like form, the chandelier's smoked-glass elements exude an air of timeless elegance. In size S, standing at 43.31 inches in height and boasting a 15.35 inches diameter, it captivates with a brushed-brass finish. This exquisite piece unites the spirit of ancient craftsmanship with modern luxury, adding an artful touch to any space.
HISTORIC PROVENANCE
The Chandelier Sahure is inspired by the ancient Egyptian Palm Column of Sahure (ca. 2458–2446 B.C,.), which stood at over 21 feet high in its original state. The granite column that now stands in the Egyptian art galleries at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is one of 16 that lined the perimeter of an open courtyard in the pyramid temple for the pharaoh Sahure. Our chandelier takes it design cues from the date-palm leaves portrayed at the top of the Museum’s column. The tiered elements of the chandelier are presented in smoked glass with a brushed-brass finish for a sophisticated look.

Thank you for shopping with Cabot House Furniture & Design’s online shop. The details below explain how we process and deliver online orders, and how returns and claims work.
Claims & Returns
We want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how we can help.
Non‑Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:
- Items marked Open Box, On Sale, or Final Sale
- Products that have been assembled, installed, used, or are missing original packaging
- Orders shipped outside the contiguous United States
Cancellation Policy (Within 24 Hours of Purchase)
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement at no cost, provided they have not been processed for shipment.
Once an order is sent to the warehouse, it cannot be canceled as the merchandise is already committed for purchase.
You will receive an email confirmation upon placing your order. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of this email and notify us of any discrepancies within 48 hours.
To cancel an order, email customerservice@cabothouse.com with your name, order number, and reason for cancellation. Phone cancellations are not accepted.
Cancellations of special orders are not permitted.
Orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to the Returns Policy.
Return Eligibility & Window
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the merchandise price.
Returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee and return shipping costs.
Original outbound shipping fees are non‑refundable.
Items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and materials. We are unable to process returns without original packaging.
How to Request a Return
Email customerservice@cabothouse.com with all of the following information so we can assist quickly:
- Full name and contact information
- Order number
- Item name(s) and quantity
- Reason for return
- Confirmation that the item is unused and in original packaging
- Clear photos (product, packaging, any issue)
If your return is approved, we’ll email instructions. You’ll need to ship the item(s) back within 5 business days of approval.
Refund Options
- Refund to original payment method, minus the 50% restocking fee and return shipping costs. Original outbound shipping fees are non‑refundable.
Claims for Damage, Defects, or Missing Parts
Inspect all items upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery slip before signing. Write "damaged" next to affected items and take photos of the product, packaging (inside and out), and the shipping label.
Email the photos to customerservice@cabothouse.com or use the support contact form on our website within 48 hours of delivery.
Do not accept damaged items. The manufacturer will send replacement parts, and any redelivery costs will be covered. Spare parts and replacements are subject to availability and may take 4–8 weeks to process.
Only items marked as damaged on the delivery slip are eligible for free repairs or replacements.
Items That Don’t Fit
Please ensure the dimensions of the furniture are suitable for your space before ordering. This is the responsibility of the customer to ensure items will not only fit in the room, but through the door, up the stairs, or in the elevator. Measurements are available on our website.
Items returned due to sizing issues are subject to the Returns Policy. If an item fits your room but not through a doorway, we can connect you with a furniture technician for assembly/disassembly at an additional cost.
Variations in Color, Finish, and Material
Variations in wood grain, stone veining, leather texture, and finish are natural and not considered defects.
Colors may appear differently due to lighting conditions or monitor settings.
Distressed finishes may feature intentional marks or imperfections that are part of the design.

Return Shipping & Packaging
Keep original boxes, foam, and inserts. Items returned without original packaging may be ineligible for return or subject to additional fees.
International & Non‑Contiguous U.S. Orders
Orders delivered outside the contiguous U.S. are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns.
